The presentation of Once Upon a Time Shop at Grace Academy was excellent. I must admit that I was not looking forward to coming to see an elementary school play in which none of my children were performing. I left wishing that there was an encore presentation, so that I could bring other friends and family. This was not your typical school play where you cannot follow the story because you are not able to understand many of the lines. Voices were strong and diction was clear. The performance was obviously well-rehearsed and well-directed, as there was never an awkward moment. Thanks to all who helped to make this such a success, especially the young performers. Hopefully, some of you are inspired to continue in the performing arts, a profession that is very much in need of a greater Christian presence. This was truly a more enjoyable experience than some of the Broadway plays I have attended! Dr. William Nielson What a blessing to have Mr. Neal at Grace! Not surprisingly, the play was so professionally directed & performed, & the Victorian Marketplace was enjoyed by all. Lou Kees Rust The message of "Once Upon a Time Shop" was so relevant after having just lost Pastor Crenshaw. What better way to honor him than to proclaim the message he dedicated his life to. Bethany Remenowsky The play was a pleasure to see and hear. Everyone had a part to play and had a good time dancing, singing and helping with scene changes. The message of kindness, fellowship and love was clearly told. Many talented hard-working people were generous with their time. Congratulations. Di Bartolo
