Dave is creative, caring, and passionate about the theater and the arts. His vision of the possibilities is inspiring. He is also very giving: giving of his time, his energy, and his friendship. One of the remarkable things about Dave is his ability to really listen and care for the people around him.

I first met Dave several years ago when my daughter auditioned for a church play in our community. We didn’t know anyone there and my daughter was very nervous, but Dave immediately put us at ease. I was recruited to help out with costumes and set for the show, so I worked with Dave a lot that summer. There were many challenges in that production: working with children of all ages, church activities that needed the same space as the production, lighting issues, a tight budget, etc. Dave worked tirelessly to make the show happen and it was wonderful. On top of that, the kids had a great time!

A couple of years later, Dave was working with Grace Academy, a new private Christian school focused on the individual needs of every student. He had a vision to build up the arts in this school in Northern Kentucky and brought me on board to teach string instruments and a percussion group. He was supportive and always there to lend a hand. When I had concerns about students or facilities, he and I would talk and brainstorm solutions. He produced a wonderful Christmas festival featuring students performing on their instruments, a Christmas musical, organized and supervised the decorations, sets, etc. He transformed the church into a Winter Fantasy, organizing lots of volunteers to help and share their gifts as well.

Dave is caring, creative, supportive, passionate, focused, organized, and a good friend. I would highly recommend him to work with any group of people because of his great people skills and his dedication to quality productions.
